Welcome to The Stanton 152 Sherman Avenue in the heart of beautiful of Glens Falls, New York. Our facility was named at the staff’s request after Pamela Stanton, R.N. who dedicated her life to improving skilled nursing care and helping people to reach their highest functioning levels. Pam believed that people were entrusted to us and we all shared a responsibility in honoring that commitment. By naming the facility in her honor, we have acknowledged and adopted her philosophy that we strive to live up to every day.
SERVICES OFFERED
• The Stanton is a beautifully furnished 120-bed healthcare facility which offers a variety of services to meet the diverse needs of our guests.
• Through our highly skilled and educated therapy staff, we provide short-term rehabilitative services to people who cannot return immediately to their homes because of an accident or illness. Our therapy programs are individually designed to maximize the person’s restorative potential as quickly as possible.
• We also provide long term care for individuals who can no longer care for themselves and require 24 hour compassionate nursing services. In addition, we specialize in palliative care, including Hospice services for those who are in the advance stages of terminal illness.
• No matter what the reason people come to stay with us, we look at each person as the unique individual that they are. Through a team approach, working with the family and the person we develop a unique plan of care to meet their needs.
• In addition to Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy, Onsite and Offsite Activities Programming, and Beauty and Barber Services we provide on-site podiatry, dental, ophthalmology and neurology services.
• Our team encourages resident and family participation so that a plan of care is developed that best maximizes each resident’s level of function.
• Our team of professionals strives to provide the highest quality of care and services within our community and live by our mission to provide these services in a Caring, Compassionate, and Committed manner.
