Welcome to The Orchard located at 10421 State Rt. 40 on a sprawling country setting nestled in the village of Granville, New York. Tucked away in the scenic landscape of Washington County, our beautiful home is named in honor of the bountiful apple trees that paint our landscape.
Services Offered
- Our wonderful complex once served its community as The Emma Laing Stevens Hospital and we continue that commitment to our neighbors in providing rehabilitative and long term care services.
- An 88-bed extended care facility, The Orchard offers breath taking views, peaceful serene surroundings and homelike amenities.
- Our location affords us the opportunity to serve the surrounding communities south to Glens Falls as well as east to the state of Vermont.
- Our rehabilitative program is uniquely individualized to each of our guests and crafted by our highly skilled and educated therapy staff. Our staff is as diverse as the clients we serve and prepared to accommodate those intensive rehabilitation needs and more complex medical needs such as wound care and IV therapy.
- In addition to Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy, we offer onsite physician, podiatry, dental, ophthalmology and neurology services.
- Our amenities also include progressive social and activities programs, concerts, a lovely beauty and barber parlor, religious services, numerous field trips to our panoramic surroundings and homelike meals prepared by culinary-trained staff.
- We also provide long term care for individuals who are no longer able to care for themselves and require 24 hour compassionate nursing care.
- Our accommodations provide for furnished private and semi-private rooms and for your convenience we accept private pay, Medicare, managed care insurance, Long-term Care Insurance and Medicaid.
- Our team encourages resident and family participation so that a care plan is developed that best maximizes each resident’s level of function.
