SERVICES OFFERED
Our compassionate, friendly and professional staff includes certified physical, speech and occupational therapists as well as social workers who are specially trained in geriatric care. Therapy programs for each resident are created by our therapists in conjunction with our resident’s personal physicians, thereby making certain each resident has a comprehensive care plan designed specifically for them.
Seneca Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is a Certified Outpatient Rehabilitation Facility. This certification means we provide outpatient therapies, which include occupational, physical and speech therapies. We also provide transportation services for people within Seneca, Wayne, Ontario and Cayuga counties through our Medi-Trans service.
Our staff members work in concert with residents, family members and personal physicians to preserve the highest level of resident dignity and independence possible. Our carefully chosen team of professionals is ready 24 hours a day to provide our residents with the services they need. We are dedicated to ensuring that the needs of our residents as well as their family members are being met.
In order to maintain our outstanding level of quality care, our staff members participate in ongoing training programs and health-related seminars within their respective fields.

Accommodations
Our single-level floor plan lends itself to easy mobility for our residents as they visit with friends and family, dine and attend activities within the facility. Our beautifully decorated living, dining and activity rooms provide our residents with safe and comfortable settings in which they can relax, socialize and share special moments while enjoying all the comforts of home.
Adjusting to a new environment isn’t always easy. We are sensitive to this, and while we hope our living environment is warm and welcoming, what says home more than something personal and familiar? Although our resident rooms are fully furnished, our residents are welcome to bring photographs and other special mementos with them to help create a feeling of home.
Cable television is conveniently available in each resident room. Each of our resident bedrooms and restrooms are furnished with a nurse call system to reassure our residents that personal nursing assistance, if needed, is immediately accessible.
Our being nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood provides our residents with the perfect surroundings in which to enjoy lush garden walkways, a garden gazebo and quiet landscaped settings to visit with those they hold dear
RECREATION/ACTIVITIES
Finding ways to enrich the lives of our residents so they may continue to feel challenged, active and involved is one of the primary goals of our activities staff. We encourage our residents to express themselves within a variety of social activities.
Among many of our popular events here at Seneca Nursing are scenic day trips, lunch outings and the enjoyment of beautiful music at community concerts. Visits from children’s groups, special holiday festivities, picnics, bingo, pet therapy and arts and crafts are but a few of our sure-to-bring-a-smile activities, all designed to enhance the emotional and spiritual well-being of our residents.
Cultural and religious services are provided for all faiths.
DIET & NUTRITION
The aroma of home-cooked meals prepared by our dedicated food service staff invites residents to socialize and dine within a family setting. Our dietitians take great pride in customizing and preparing delicious meals that meet each of our residents’ individual dietary and nutritional needs.
While we strongly believe our residents benefit greatly from socializing with their friends while they dine in our beautiful Garden Dining Room, our Courtyard Café, or our Maple Dining Room, we are sensitive to those residents who may require our personalized room service. Friends and family are always welcome to join their loved one for a delicious, home-cooked meal.

The comfort and well being of our residents is of the utmost importance to us at Seneca Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Seneca Nursing is affiliated with a number of area hospitals. We accept numerous forms of insurance. Please inquire about our special rate program with Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
