Since undergoing major renovations completed in 2001, Sands Point Center for Health & Rehabilitation has become the premier healthcare facility on Long Island's “Gold Coast.†Sands Point has been able to expand their focus on a wide variety of specialty care programs without comprising its intimate, home-like setting.
Sands Point offers a comprehensive array of short term and sub-acute services including orthopedic rehabilitation, specialized wound care, pulmonary treatment programs and IV therapy. Sands Point also provides long term care for individuals in need of permanent skilled nursing supported residence in a safe, comfortable and nurturing environment.
Amenities include cable television, beautifully decorated oversized rooms, spacious sun-drenched courtyards, a beauty salon, barbershop, and comfortable patient/family lounges.
National’s “Passport Rehabilitation†program was specifically designed to meet the needs of individuals requiring a short-term rehabilitative stay following a hospitalization or an acute medical episode.
