Our Lady of Peace (OLP) provides a wide range of services to address many levels of care, from short-term rehab to long-term skilled nursing. We provide everything from traditional care services (subacute rehabilitation, orthopedic rehabilitation, etc) and special care services (Dementia care and Alzheimer’s care) to specialized rehabilitation care (physical therapy services, speech therapy services, and occupational therapy services).
The founding principle of Our Lady of Peace is a residence designed to feel more like home, with no compromise to the services that residents require. The result is a state-of-the-art facility with large rooms, more privacy and a caring, professional staff that's always ready to help.
Faith is also an important part of our residents' lives and our Spiritual Care Team offers numerous programs that are respectful of all faith traditions. Our beautiful chapel provides a quiet place for residents, staff and visitors to reflect.
Located on the Mount St. Mary's campus, OLP offers separate wings for different levels of care.
SERVICES
Our Lady of Peace is a faith based ministry that offers numerous programs that are respectful to all faith traditions. For residents unable to attend, services can be seen on Channel 5 throughout the facility. Our beautiful chapel provides a quite place for residents, staff and visitors to reflect.
To ensure that residents have all necessary conveniences, Our Lady of Peace offers:
- State of the Art, Restaurant Style Dining Areas located on each unit. Meals are served waitress style with preferences and consumption electronically monitored and recorded daily.
- Physician Services are offered in conjunction with our affiliate, Mount St. Mary’s Hospital and Health Center. Physicians with shared privileges are encouraged to follow their patients for continuum of care. Residents on the “Steps to Life†Rehabilitation Units are seen by the rehab specific physician.
- Optometry Services such as yearly eye examinations, new glasses and repairs are available onsite. An optometric suite is available for consultations.
- Dental Services offers routine dental work to residents on an annual basis. Our dental suite is available for on-site confidential consultations.
- Podiatry Services are available in-house on an as needed basis.
Laboratory Services offers routine lab work in-house.
Barber/Beautician Services are available in our salon located within the facility. Appointments can be made through the residents’ social worker.
