We invite you to come and tour our beautiful long-term care and rehabilitation facility at the foot of the Pakatakan Mountain in Margaretville, New York.
We truly have an open door policy -- visitors are welcome 24 hours a day seven days a week. I am sure you will also be impressed with our compassionate and caring staff, our delicious and nutritious meal plan, our many activities, and accessible living quarters.
The center provides semi-private and private rooms for more than 80 long-term care residents, three nutritious meals a day plus snacks planned by a registered dietitian and prepared on-site, and a variety of activities and events for residents, staff and visitors alike. including pet therapy. holiday fairs, gardening, art instruction, day outings, and musical entertainment. The center also includes lounges and common areas where residents can enjoy reading, table games, or friendly conversation. The first floor has a cafe open for use 24 hours a day by residents and their guests.
More than 100 staff members contribute to the smooth operation at the Mountainside Residential Care Center. Among our staff members are a team of health care professionals including a podiatrist, dentist, optometrist, and occupational, physical and speech therapists. Margaretville Memorial Hospital is located right next door to provide emergency and acute medical/surgical and coronary care services if needed.
Visiting hours are 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Visitors are always welcome at Mountainside.
