Folts Homes Long Term Care.
The Folts Health Center is home to 163 residents who receive first class nursing services, occupational and physical therapy and therapeutic recreation. Specially tailored meals by our nutritionists are prepared by our highly skilled chefs.
Social Services
The Social Work Department is available to assist residents and families in meeting their social needs, including appropriate placement and discharge planning. The Director of Social Services and the trained certified staff are ready to assist residents and family members in all their needs. Family members can schedule individual Quality of Care meetings with the staff to discuss issues of concern. The department works with the Nursing Staff to assure the quality of care for each resident is second to none.
Rehabilitation - Short Term Stay
Folts Homes offers a rehabilitation program to assist the individual to achieve that level of functioning required to return to their independent lifestyle. The therapists develop an individualized program that will enable the resident to work toward their rehabilitation goal. Balance, coordination, flexibility, strength and endurance are addressed to improve functional mobility. Rehabilitation is offered for short term basis or long term residents. During a Short-Term Stay; participants will also have the opportunity to participate in the onsite services we offer such as therapeutic recreation events, chapel services, outings, etc. The following services are offered to residents in need:

* Hand Therapy
* Splint Fabrication
* Prosthetic Management
* Neuromuscular Rehab
Therapeutic Recreation
Folts Homes Therapeutic Recreation Director and staff provide activities to keep residents socially and physically fit. Monthly calendars are filled with activities held within the Folts Homes campus and off campus. Outings are planned and all family members are informed of events so they may have the opportunity to participate.
Short-Term Stay - Help for the Caregiver
The Folts Homes Short Term Stay Program allows participants to receive the highest level of care, while their caregiver relaxes for a needed break. During a Short Term Stay, participants will have the option to participate in the onsite chapel services, therapeutic recreation events, outings, beauty and barber shop services and menu selected meals in one of our beautiful dining rooms.
