The Villages of Orleans is a 120 bed skilled nursing facility that has been serving residents of Orleans and surrounding counties for over 90 years. Our Community Re-Entry, Memory Care, and Long Term Skilled Nursing programs are designated to meet the needs of our community. The staff is committed to providing professional care in a rural, homelike setting. Our goal is to achieve optimum quality of life for each of our residents through a team approach.

We are pleased to announce the opening of our new 78 bed addition that replaces our old A and B Wings!

MEMORY CARE UNIT

Also new is our 30 bed Memory Care Unit. This unit has a dedicated program director and staff members who have been selected and trained to work with our dementia population. We will provide a structured environment which will include things such as activities for the cognitively impaired, consistent caring methods, and a low stimulus secure environment.

REHAB AND THERAPY

Our rehabilitation services include Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy. These services are available for patients based on an evaluation of their needs at the time of their admission. The team at the Villages of Orleans will individualize your plan of care and will work with you towards your goals to regain your independence and confidence. The rehabilitation staff members assess a resident’s ability to return to the community, coordinate services and arrange for durable medical equipment and other services as indicated.

LONG TERM SKILLED NURSING

The decision to place a loved one in a long term care facility can be heartwrenching. Our staff will work with families and residents to make the transition as easy as possible.

NEW 78 BED ADDITION!

Spacious rooms, restaurant style dining services, and large sitting areas are only a few of the amenities we offer in our new addition.

INTERGENERATIONAL PROGRAM

Our "Community As School" partnership with Albion Central School was recognized as one of the best intergenerational programs in the state. In June of 2007, we were recognized nationally receiving "The 2007 Leading-Edge Care and Services Award" from the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging. The award is given in recognition of programs and services that are models of innovation and excellence, and contribute significantly to the quality of life of the individuals served.
