Home to 120 people of all faiths, The Baptist Home provides skilled nursing care and short-term residential rehabilitation. Care team members from all areas affecting the residents' lives work together to create individual plans of care for each resident.
The team of rehabilitation specialists helps people reach their highest physical potential in a safe and supervised environment.
Physical Therapy identifies and works toward achieving maximum ability through strengthening, stretching and relearning motor skills.
Occupational Therapy helps to expand this ability through the proper use of adaptive equipment, and learning alternate methods for accomplishing tasks of everyday living.
Restorative Nursing provides structured activities which reinforce skills learned during rehabilitation treatment sessions, and help the patient practice daily functional skills such as grooming, eating and dressing.
Social Services help the patient and his or her family adjust emotionally to often difficult changes.
Leisure-time Activities encourage socialization and the opportunity to use skills learned during rehabilitation treatments.
Dietary Monitoring assesses nutritional capabilities and needs to assure the proper dietary balance for a healthy lifestyle.
Finance Department assists with Medicare/private insurance billing and personal financial matters.
