Senior Services
St. Josephs Place offers 24-hour nursing care, long term and short term rehabilitation, tracheotomy care, head trauma care, respiratory care, and psychological services in a comfortable setting that our residents can call "home."
Our residents receive the attention of a team of highly trained, experienced Physicians, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses (L.P.N.s), Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Registered Dieticians, Certified Nursing Assistants, Activities Personnel, Social Workers and Pastoral Care Providers. Podiatry, audiology and dental services are also available to our residents.

Our staff incorporates an enrichment program of activities to promote an optimal quality of life for each resident. Physical and mental stimulation is provided through music, art, games, crafts, education, entertainment, exercise, outings and holiday celebrations. Community involvement includes regular visits to our residents by service clubs, scouts, volunteer pet therapists and church groups.

St. Josephs Place offers dining services to all residents and hosts enjoyable dining activities such as "Resident Restaurant Reviews" and "Down Home Style Meals."

St. Josephs Place is licensed by the New York State Department of Health and accredited by the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO).

Daily visiting hours are 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. We have no restrictions on the number or age of visitors.

An application, along with a Patient Review Instrument (PRI) and Screening to determine eligibility are needed for admission. St. Josephs Place accepts Medicare and New York State Medicaid. Other medical insurance carriers and private pay are welcome. St. Josephs Place is located on the first floor of Bon Secours Community Hospital.
