Resident Care Services:
Sprain Brook Manor utilizes an interdisciplinary team approach to providing care. By working closely together, all aspects of the resident’s needs are addressed. Out highly trained RN’s, LPN’s and Certified Nurses Aides provide comprehensive care to residents 24 hours a day.
Sprain Brook Manor’s Medical Director works closely with our team and the primary physicians to provide the highest quality medical care.
Nursing Services:
The mission of the nursing department is to provide high quality individualized nursing care so out residents can achieve their optimal level of functioning.
For our short term residents nursing rehabilitation works closely with our physical and occupational therapists to provide ambulation and range of motion.
Rehabilitation Services:
Sprain Brook Manor is commited to providing rehabililtaion services that address the entire person. Recognizing that every resident has individual needs and concerns, the rehabilitation staff evaluate each resident to design a specific program that is targeted towards self- reliance and and self esteem.
Therapeutic Recreation:
Sprain Brook Manor’s recreation department provides a wide variety of therapeutic activities developed for the strengths, needs and interests of our residents. Activities include entertainment, music, bingo, bowling, holiday parties, and it goes on and on… Activity calendars are provided monthly. Personal choice and interests are respected at Sprain Brook Manor… books, movies and games are available for those residents who so desire.
Food Service Department:
Our food service department provides quality nutritional catering for our residents. This experience is enhanced by service in our lovely dining room located off the first floor lobby.
The special needs of each resident is considered when preparing the daily menus.
Individual dietary counseling is also available.
Social Services:
Our Social Services department provides a wide range of services including counseling, advocacy, education and referrals for the psychological and psychosocial needs of our residents.
