Maplewood Manor is a public, nonprofit 277 bed nursing home operated by Saratoga County. Maplewood is situated in the foothills of the Adirondacks in Ballston Spa. It is conveniently accessible to all residents of Saratoga County and surrounding areas.

Admission to Maplewood Manor is based on several factors. Preference is given to Saratoga County residents or loved ones of Saratoga County residents. It is the policy of Maplewood Manor to admit and treat all residents without regard to race, creed, color, national origin, sex, handicap, source of payment, age, marital status or sexual preference.

Referrals are accepted from hospitals, physicians, public health services and other nursing facilities. Once a referral is made to Maplewood Manor, our Admissions Coordinator will begin processing the referral for admission. We encourage potential residents, family members and friends to come and visit our facility.

Physical, occupational and speech therapies; nursing rehabilitation, social services and activities are among the services that we provide. In addition to the many indoor sitting and visiting areas located throughout the facility, there are numerous outdoor seating areas where residents enjoy the serene surroundings. Animals and plants are also important components of the facility. There are many horticulture club meetings, pet therapy visits and facility pets. Most importantly, we have many compassionate employees who have dedicated their working lives to Maplewood Manor and the residents here. With the recent celebration of our 25th Anniversary at this site, we also honored many employees with 25 years of service.
