Huntington Hills is a 320 bed skilled nursing facility situated on the South Service Road of the Long Island Expressway in Melville. The 12 acre site is accessible to families in Nassau and Suffolk counties, as well as eastern New York City. The facility opened in August of 1999 and steady occupancy was achieved in the following months.

The concept in the planning and design of Huntington Hills through the construction process, and in the selection of interior decor and furnishings, was to reflect a resort-like atmosphere, not a traditional hospital-like facility. This was accomplished by a coordinated design approach featuring the use of carpeting, wallpaper, oak trim, doors and handrails, spacious rooms, lounges & courtyards, as well as state of the art equipment and safety systems. The complete environment from the atrium lobby with grand staircase to the resident dining rooms with wood textured floors, reflects a grandeur distinct to Huntington Hills. Other amenities include cable TV, telephones, beauty shop, library, tiled bathrooms, whirlpool bathing tubs, chapel and selective menus.

Huntington Hills Center houses eight 40-bed nursing units, four each on the 1st and 2nd floors. Services are provided to a geriatric and chronically ill population supporting their need for assistance with various activities of daily living as well as attention to individual medical problems. There are also specialty units: one being specific for short-term orthopedic rehabilitation patients, proximate to the extensive PT/OT rehab center, and one designed for medically sub-acute patients, with rooms offering wall oxygen and suction. The medical staff is composed of Board Certified Physicians on staff at neighboring hospitals.

Huntington Hills Center staff includes licensed nursing professionals, social workers, recreation therapists, dietitians, and well-trained support personnel. An active volunteer program and support of community-based multi-denominational religious organizations provide pastoral care services for all residents. The integration of sophisticated medical services with luxurious hotel accommodations places Huntington Hills Center at the pinnacle of residential healthcare living.
