Nursing and Medical Care
Each resident’s care is provided by highly qualified and experienced staff.
Residents and their family members are an intrical part of our care team.
The resident’s decisions regarding their medical care are always honored.
Periodic team meetings will be scheduled with families and residents to discuss care, make decisions and set goals.
Medical Care
A licensed physician clinically manages each resident’s care by frequent visits to the healthcare center. Currently, our medical staff includes several community physicians, a Nurse Practitioner and our Medical Director. The Nurse Practitioner makes rounds every morning, Monday thru Friday.
In case of an acute medical emergency, we are located only minutes away from Jones Memorial Hospital.
Nursing Care
An RN Nurse Manager is responsible to coordinate and implement nursing care and services on each of our Centers two units. Unit Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants are assigned on a 24-hour basis.
Our results are consistent quality care along with the development of close personal relationships. Both units have permanent teams and assignments for consistency.
Highland Healthcare Center provides an extensive list of additional clinical services and additional non-clinical services for our residents conveniently, right on our premises. Clinical services are provided by a dedicated team of staff, consultants and 3rd party vendors to ensure our guest’s comfort and well-being.
