Leisure activities at Heritage Commons give residents the opportunity to engage in thoughtful conversation, develop warm relationships, and discover a true sense of community among new friends. Monthly Resident Council meetings offer a formal way to share thoughts and suggestions for day-to-day living. From watercolor painting workshops and musical concerts to personalized cardiac rehab programs and physical therapy, residents have an opportunity to weave their interests into their good health.
24-Hour Quality Care
Our skilled comprehensive care team begins each day with enthusiasm and compassion. They love what they do, and it shows. Registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, a registered dietitian and recreational director, physical and occupational therapists, and certified nurses aides work round the clock to assure safety, security and peace of mind. Hospital and 24-hour emergency services, adjacent to Heritage Commons, provide a further measure of security and care. Our Adult Care Facility and Assisted Living Apartments offer additional options for seniors in our region.
Body and Soul
Planting a garden, Lifting weights, Hand exercises; whatever the lifestyle preference, residents are encouraged to remain active in order to maintain their independence, self-respect and dignity. Individual physicians visit the facility several times a week in order to provide continuity of care to each resident. in addition to physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, audiology, podiatry, dentistry and pharmaceutical services are available to compliment primary care services.
