Set in the scenic Hudson Valley, Elant at Goshen has been serving area residents since 1985. Today, the center provides a comprehensive range services for children and seniors.
Idyllic scenery, an outdoor fountain and an accessible gazebo add to the charm of the rural landscape. A seasonal greenhouse complements the superbly appointed main building, which features a soothing saltwater fish tank and plenty of indoor plants grown by residents in the greenhouse.
Elant at Goshen Nursing Home
Elant at Goshen Nursing Home offers single- or double-occupancy rooms with half baths. Our team approach to treating the whole person means a careful determination of each patient's emotional and physical needs and a program specially designed to encourage physical and intellectual stimulation.
Rehabilitation Services
When recovering from an illness, injury or surgery, this "in between time" can be a challenging one - you're not ill enough for a hospital, but not quite ready to function the way you want. This is where the Rehabilitation Services at Elant at Goshen come in. We have a full spectrum of high-quality therapeutic services that can be customized to your personal needs. Our goal is to get you back to your family, your community and the things you enjoy doing as quickly as possible.
Elant at Goshen Rehabilitation Services are offered in three areas, for all rehabilitation needs:
- Occupational therapy: Helps promote independence with daily tasks and activities.
- Physical therapy: Helps people restore, maintain and promote overall health, improves strength and coordination and reduces overall physical disabilities.
- Speech therapy: Diagnoses and treats a wide variety of speech, language and voice disabilities.
Adult Home
For seniors who want to maintain their independence but may need additional help, Elant at Goshen is the perfect answer.
Adult home living at Elant at Goshen means no more concerns about the difficult parts of the daily routine. The monthly adult home fee includes three nutritious meals a day served restaurant style in the dining room, weekly laundry and housekeeping services so there are no concerns about washing and cleaning, 24-hour staffing in case of emergency needs, scheduled transportation for shopping and a roster of daily cultural and social events.
The cheerful rooms feature accessible baths with walk-in showers, community kitchenettes for an afternoon tea or late-night snack, and a personal emergency response system.
Except for telephone expenses, all utilities and cable television are included in the monthly fee. Our certified adult home program allows residents to remain as self-sufficient as possible for as long as possible.
Dementia Care: An expanded 55-bed dementia care unit offers a secure environment for residents who need specialized care related to memory function.
Adult Day Care
When an individual requires quality daytime care but can remain at home, Elant at Goshen Adult Day Health Care is an ideal solution. A Medicaid-approved program, Adult Day Health Care provides social interaction, professional nursing care, rehabilitation services and physical and occupational activities, along with nutritious meals and snacks.
Elant at Goshen's Adult Day Health Care program ensures a respite for the caretaker and companionship, stimulation, and care for the individual in a nurturing environment.
Elant Kids
The Elant Kids Children's Learning Center offers nationally accredited daycare for area children. The Elant Kids program fosters creativity, teaches problem-solving techniques and helps children learn social interaction skills. With its emphasis on the whole individual, the Elant Kids program seeks to enhance the cognitive, emotional, social, cultural, creative and physical development of every child.
Kids’ Club Summer Day Camp
Elant’s Kids’ Club Summer Day Camp runs for eight weeks every summer and offers high-quality summer fun for children between five and 12. It’s a wonderful way for a child to spend the summer.
