Cedar Lodge is a 100-bed licensed Nursing Home located in Center Moriches. We have been providing loving, dignified care to our residents for more than 35 years. We are committed to caring for our residents and their families. Our priority is to provide an individual a safe and friendly environment, whether you or your loved one is to receive short term rehabilitation or long term care.
The administrative staff is developing an updated and intensive rehabilitation department that will accommodate individuals with multiple needs. i.e. Wound Care, IV and 02 Therapy, Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy. Our ultimate goal is to restore our residents to a physical level where a return back to the community is possible.
Hospitals are discharging patients earlier then ever before. Our skilled, specially trained Nursing Department can provide the type of care no longer offered by hospitals: sub-acute care. We can accommodate patients who require IV therapy, oxygen therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, physchosocial therapy, specialized wound care, pain management and/or tracheostomy care in a home-like environment.
Our professional staff includes registered nurses, licensed professional nurses and certified
nursing assistants who minister to the needs of the residents around the clock, every day of the year. Whether the admission is for short or long term, the staff will get to know the
resident well.
The nursing staff is an integral part of the interdisciplinary team, specially trained in rehabilitation, offering guidance and reassurance on an individual basis. They welcome family questions and encourage attendance at care planning meetings.
Each member of our dedicated nursing staff is willing to go the extra mile to ensure the progress of each resident. Everyone is interested in promoting emotional and spiritual well-being and encouraging each resident to reach their maximum physical potential.
Residents with a chronic medical condition requiring 24-hour nursing care are expertly cared for in our Skilled Nursing Facilities. Services include skilled nursing care, complex medical care and rehabilitation as needed
