Services
Skilled nursing - Iroquois is staffed by teams of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants, overseen by a Board-certified medical director specially trained in geriatric medicine.
Physicians - board certified attending physicians and nurse practitioners that specialize in geriatric care work closely to ensure the medical needs of each resident is met. Physician and nurse practitioner visits are predicated on each resident's specific needs and conditions. In addition, surgical and orthopedic in house consults are available. Residents may continue care under their personal physician, if desired at their own cost.
Allied health professionals - If needed, in-house services including diagnostic lab testing, pharmacy, dentistry, optometry, podiatry a psychological services are available.
Rehabilitation - Physical, occupational and speech therapy are available as required.
Nutrition - Registered dietitians and diet technicians continually monitor residents' individual needs during their stay.
Resident and Family Services - Social workers provide residents and their families with information and emotional support during admission and throughout their stay, and are available for consultation as needed.
Activities - Life at Iroquois is full with activities for our residents 7 days a week?365 days/year. We have regular programs and events including outings on our wheelchair accessible van, visits from community entertainers and specialized programs for residents with cognitive loss.
Pastoral Care - Our pastoral care staff provides weekly Catholic Mass and a Community Worship Service and are available 24 hours/day.
Additional services - Laundry, housekeeping, maintenance, security and other services are part of our daily responsibilities in meeting residents' needs.
